Equihandee is a riding aid designed to help keep your horse riders safer whilst riding, we have created a handle that helps keep unstable riders in the saddle. Equihandee was designed by myself for my daughter whilst she learnt to ride. I struggled to hold onto her securely I would either grab hold of her clothes at her back, which was uncomfortable for her or I would hold onto her thigh, but this just caused discomfort as I would hold on too tight. So I got to work on creating something that would benefit myself and my daughter in stabilising her in the saddle

Produced by a leading UK industrial fall protection harness manufacturer & using similar materials, the Equihandee harness has been designed & produced with the knowledge that it offers the owner and user a durable, high quality product that will last! The main construction of the harness is 25mm wide polyester webbing, which has minimum break strength of 1.5tonnes. Even the thread used within the harness is a high strength polyester filament type, giving you the assurance that nothing has been left to chance with the quality of this equestrian training safety product. Equihandee will be an invaluable addition to anyone’s riding attire who is wishing to enjoy riding these beautiful animals.

🐴✨ A PROUD NEW MILESTONE FOR EQUIHANDEE ✨🐴

I’m delighted to share some exciting news…

Equihandee is now officially a member of the Equine Assisted Services Partnership (EASP)! 💚

Alongside this, I am also fully licensed by the local council and Enhanced DBS checked.

For me, these achievements are about much more than ticking boxes. They demonstrate my commitment to providing safe, professional and responsible Equine Facilitated Learning Sessions, with safeguarding and wellbeing at the heart of what I do.

At Equihandee, I use the unique relationship between humans and horses to support learning, personal development, confidence, communication, emotional awareness and individual growth.

I believe that when people place their trust in a business, they should have confidence in the person providing the service and the standards behind it.

That’s why I am so proud to have taken these important steps towards ensuring Equihandee operates professionally and responsibly.

🐎 And the horses are just as important.

Horse welfare is fundamental to my work. The horses are not simply a tool — they are partners in the process and their wellbeing, comfort and individual needs are always respected.

Becoming an EASP member, being fully council licensed and Enhanced DBS checked strengthens the foundations of Equihandee and reflects the standards I want my business to uphold.

I’m incredibly proud of how far Equihandee has come and excited for what lies ahead.

In our ground-based sessions, there’s no pressure to achieve a specific goal or perform for anyone. Horses are masters at reading energy—they don’t care about your to-do list, your job title or what kind of day you’ve had.

Sometimes, a little bit of visibility changes everything.

Imagine hacking down a lane and having a driver cut their engine early because they see a 'DEAF RIDER' tabard ahead.
