Hasn't this season come around quickly?! It feels like only yesterday we were handing out awards at the end of last season! 🏆

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone back this Saturday and have pulled together some important information, FAQs and reminders to help you prepare for the new season.

📅 Fixtures & Pitch Information
This week's fixture sheet is attached (hard copies will also be available from the Football Office).

For those new to Littledown Juniors:
✅ The home team is always listed on the left
✅ The home team referees the game
✅ The away team is listed on the right
✅ The pitch number is shown alongside the fixture

We've also included a pitch map to help you find your way around.

Don't worry if refereeing seems confusing at first. Some teams may referee every week, while others may referee twice one week and not at all the next.

Our coordinators and football office team will be on hand to help throughout the season. Look out for our weekly fixture sheets and league tables on the noticeboard inside the centre.

👋 First Week Information
The first week is a little different from a normal match day.

It's all about: ⚽ Meeting your new teammates
🤝 Catching up with friends
👕 Collecting your kit
📍 Finding your pitch
🎉 Playing your first game

If both teams are present and ready, feel free to start early. Our coordinators will still signal the end of each game.

🔄 Replacement Players
If one of your players is unavailable for a week or more, you can bring in a replacement player.

✅ A registration form must be completed before kick-off ✅ The form must be completed each week a replacement is needed ✅ Replacement players must be in the correct school year for the age group

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

🔴 I'm away on the first day. What should I do?
No problem! You can collect your kit when you return the following week.

⚫ Under 15, 16 & 17: Where do I pay my £10 shirt deposit?
Head to the Football Office before your game with your £10 deposit and we'll exchange it for your shirt.

🔴 I still have my shirt from last season.
Please return it to the Football Office.

⚫ I can't remember my team name.
Speak to one of our coordinators (wearing red) or visit the Football Office and we'll point you in the right direction.

‼️ Important Reminders
✅ Shin pads are compulsory for all age groups
⚠️ New rule this season: Miniature shin pads are not permitted
⚽ Substitutions during and between games are not permitted
👕 Under 15-17 players will not receive a shirt without their £10 deposit
⏰ Please arrive a little earlier this week to allow time to collect your kit
🚗 Parking is free for up to 3 hours. Need longer? Please check the notices around the car park for details.

FAQ's
Q - Is the event free?
A - Entry to the fun day itself is free, as are some activities and entertainment. Some activities however may charge. Prices will be displayed at each attraction.
Q - Where can I park?
A - Spaces, including accessible parking for blue badge holders, are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be respectful of our neighbours and don't park on the grass verges. We will have parking enforcement and security patrolling the main road between the centre and the estate.
If you can, please walk, cycle or hop on a bus to get here!
Q - Can I bring my dog?
A - Sorry, no 🙁 Littledown is a dog-free park. It's loud, busy and noisy, so please leave your pets at home. Service animals are welcome.
