Pre-season matches remain unaffected.
Following the unprecedented weather conditions experienced across the country this summer, the RFU has delayed the start of the 2026/27 season in the interests of player safety and welfare.
Our opening season fixture is now scheduled for:

The revised date remains subject to conditions continuing to improve, and we’ll keep everyone updated through our website and social channels.
It means waiting a little longer to get the new season underway, but player welfare has to come first.
