Calling all sport chiro enthusiasts come down to the first external speaker event of the 23/24 year with Dr Robinson who will share his experience on motor racing and the London olympics/Paralympics + more AT DP THIS FRIDAY!!!!!

Send your name, and the role you are interested in to Alexander Cull - [email protected]. Please include a bit about yourself, your year, what sports you like and some ideas you have for the club.

CLUB ROLES:

President: Host a speaker once a term or more. Oversee the External Speaker Policy and submits forms working closely with AECC Staff.

Vice President: To co-host the speakers and support the president. Stepping in if the President is unwell.

Treasurer: In charge of all money (e.g. hoodies, social costs etc). You will work closely with the SU. - Look into Sponsorship.

Media marketing and Social Sec:
Advertise upcoming speakers and socials 1 week before the event.
Snap pictures at our socials. Post to social media (Instagram, FB, Whatsapp, Linked in) after each event. Liaise with the SU.
Host a social once a term (beach party, bbq, sports pub quiz whatever you want).

Creative: To help create awesome merch for the club (thinking hats, hoodies and more). To support the media and marketing Sec with social media.

Secretary: Check coms before they go. Write meeting notes and assist with all other admin.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE MAY 10th

All committee members will be committed to meeting regularly once a month. Time and Date TBC.
The role will start in September but we would like to get you involved with a slow transition into the team after the exams

BCA President, Catherine Quinn was delighted to speak to
Rooks health and have the opportunity to put to bed some of the myths and misinformation about Chiropractic.

Speaking after the recording, Catherine said, "The only way that we can provide the best advice to our patients and understand what another profession can offer to their healthcare, is by first understanding that profession. Whilst it is understandable to not be on top of all the facts, there is no excuse for re-stating misinformation about another profession. All regulated healthcare professions should take an interest in learning about their colleagues in order to put their patients first."
