Our away day ends in a defeat, good performance from the lads, quality minutes in the tank, few lapses in concentration affected the result after going 1-0 up with a goal from our new signing Mitch M, however bedfonts experience prevailed and we ran out with a 4-1 defeat, onto the next pre season friendly against dexters, up the shed 🐦‍🔥🟡⚫️

Not the result we were looking for, however, we’ve walked away with our heads held high and still excited for what’s to come and we’re back at the shed enjoying a few well earned beverages.

We knew we were up against a solid side in AFC Burton and we held them to 2-0 for 75 minutes before new signing Rob Manley slotted in a rebounded penalty, we battled hard to get another but Burton capitalised swiftly after conceding to make it 3 before cruising to a 5-1 win.

The boys played well today for 80 minutes and definitely did themselves proud with Rob making a seriously impressive first impression despite the humbling scoreline. Well done to AFC Burton and all the best for the upcoming season, we look forward to the next game 😉

⚽ First Team Manager Wanted ⚽

Following a successful debut season, we are looking to appoint a First Team Manager for the upcoming campaign.

Competing in Dorset Sunday Division 3, in 25/26 we finished 5th in our first-ever season and reached the League Cup Semi-Final, establishing strong foundations and proving we can compete with the league’s best.

We have a committed group of players, a positive club culture, and genuine ambition to push on and challenge higher up the table in our second season.

This is a voluntary role and would suit either an experienced manager looking for a new challenge or an aspiring coach wanting the opportunity to lead their own team.

We’re looking for someone who:

* Can organise and motivate players
* Is committed to matchdays and team development
* Wants to be part of an ambitious and growing club
