Hamro Run Club

Hamro Run Club We are a group of volunteers who enjoy running and want to inspire people. We are currently based in Folkestone and Ashford.

It is a free-run club focusing on our mission to build a Nepalese running community and promote health and fitness through running. Community is everything to us as well as building connections with each other to become a running family. As a running family, we take on challenges together and fundraise for good causes. We are not all just about running, we organise social events and other activities such as Hike, rowing, etc.

Help Children in Nepal Return to School 🇳🇵

On the 26th August 2026, flooding in Nepal has left communities across Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading facing significant damage, with 18 schools physically affected.

Himalayan Outdoor Project (HOP) × Hamro Run Club (HRC) are coming together to support the recovery of a flood-affected school.

Our initial target is £15,000 a starting contribution towards a locally identified project.

Throughout the year, we’ll be fundraising through running challenges, community events and other activities, bringing people together through movement, adventure and purpose.

Alongside fundraising, HOP will work directly with communities, schools and local authorities to understand what is needed most. As we raise funds, we’ll assess, plan and build the project together.

£15,000 is where we start not where the journey ends.
Every donation, share and contribution can help turn small individual actions into something bigger.

❤️ Donate. Share. Get involved.
Let’s make a difference.

Want to get involved in the campaign or help us fundraise?
Whether you want to fundraise, organise, share, or support, we’d love to hear from you.
Reach out to us and be part of the journey.

What a moment for the Nepalese running community! 🇳🇵❤️

The Big Half London 2026 saw what we believe to be the largest turnout of Nepalese runners at a half marathon event, bringing together runners of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Over 300 runner for sure combining runners from Nepal Run RUNDERBOLTS⚡️ Rushmoor Nepali Running Club ! (Many missing from the photo)

From first time half marathoners to experienced runners, we came together as one community, running, supporting and celebrating each other.

For many, this run was about more than just the finish line. Many runners dedicated their miles to the victims of the recent floods in Nepal, using the platform to raise awareness and support fundraising efforts back home.

Truly was an inspiring and emotional run.

Keep moving to inspire.

The Big Half 2026
Good luck to all the runners taking on The Big Half this weekend! 🇳🇵🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

What a turnout from our community. This weekend, London could witness one of the largest-ever gatherings of Nepalese runners at a half marathon, with an estimated 300+ runners taking part. Runners from Rushmoor Nepalese Run Club, Nepal Run UK and Runderbolts.

A truly proud moment for all of us, and a privilege to have the opportunity to come together, represent our community and celebrate the strength of Nepalese runners.

As we run, let’s also take a moment to remember and reflect on those affected by the recent floods in Nepal. 🇳🇵❤️

In the coming weeks, we’ll be coming together once again to raise funds and support those affected by the floods.

Good luck, everyone. Run strong, run proud, and let’s make it count.
Do join us and wait around at the meet up point after your run - Flag 9 & 10.
