It's our 120th anniversary! We're one of the oldest bowls clubs in Bournemouth. Centrally based at Winton Rec., we're easily accessible from all parts of BC&P.

Today was the final bowls session for Bournemouth Gateway Club. Everyone has had so much fun over the summer so nice to see so many happy smiling faces and everyone having a go. See you next summer.

Every bowler knows thereâs a story behind those numbers.
It doesnât show the bowl that somehow saved FOUR SHOTS when the head looked impossible. đł
It doesnât show the teammate who kept saying, âWeâre still in this.â when everyone else thought the game was gone.
It doesnât show the fight it took to come back from 6â15 down⊠one end, one shot, one bowl at a time. đȘ
It doesnât show the toucher.
The unlucky wick.
The bowl that missed by millimetres.
The pressure on the final end.
Or the teammate who quietly held everyone together.
The scoreboard records the RESULT.
â€ïž But the bowlers remember the STORY.
And sometimes⊠the greatest games you ever play aren't the ones you win. They're the ones that show you what you're made of.

A fun afternoon in the sun. Richmond Park Bowls Club with help from Kings Park Bowls Club and Bournemouth Bowls Club played a friendly match against The Timber Trundlers. A refreshment break after 9 ends and after 18 ends we retired to the bar for refreshments .
