The Wakes went down 4-3 to Oakham United in a fantastic, end-to-end game, with the lads showing plenty of fight and determination right until the final whistle.👏⚽

More good news for The Wakes as Eden Thomas has been appointed team captain for the Reserves!👏

With Tom Edwards continuing his recovery, Eden steps into the role and got off to the perfect start, captaining the side to the Smith Carrington Cup victory last night!🏆⚽

Pictured alongside new manager Josh Dilley, Eden will be hoping this is the first of many memorable moments wearing the armband💪

We wish Eddy all the best with his recovery and look forward to seeing him back with the team soon💙

A fantastic evening for the Reserves as they came away with a 4-2 victory over Pointon FC, securing the Smith Carrington Cup!👏

A brilliant team performance, plenty of quality in front of goal, and another positive step as the squad continues to build momentum.
