“Right. Monday. I'm starting again.”
New diet.
Five workouts.
No chocolate.
No takeaways.
10,000 steps every day.
Everything tracked perfectly.
Because apparently everything you did before today has been deleted from the system. 😂
It hasn't.
This is something I particularly want women in their 40s and 50s to hear.
If you've had a difficult few weeks, or months, you don't need to repay some imaginary fitness debt.
You don't need to eat 1,200 calories tomorrow because you've eaten more than usual recently.
You don't need to do an enormous cardio session because you've gained weight.
And you don't need to wait until you're feeling sufficiently motivated to launch New You™.
Your body doesn't understand Mondays.
It responds to what you repeatedly do over time.
So tomorrow could simply be:
A decent breakfast.
A walk.
Some vegetables.
Enough protein.
A strength session.
Going to bed a little earlier.
Not because you're being “good.”
Because they're useful things to do.
This is actually how I approach coaching.
We look at where you are now, what you're trying to achieve and what we can realistically build from there.
Not where you think you should be.
So here's my Sunday challenge:
Don't tell me everything you're going to change tomorrow.
Tell me ONE thing.
DM me MONDAY and tell me the one thing you'd most like to get back on track with.
I'll help you choose a sensible first move.
