What a beautiful Monday morning 🌅 😍

Children all away to school/playgroup and my brain can finally take a moment 🧠.

Im treating myself to a wee hot chocolate this morning.. and sitting by myself in Costa😍 bliss.

There’s a time I would have been far too anxious to sit in a public place by myself, but now I love it!!

Do you enjoy just sitting by yourself sometimes? It’s a great time to slow down, be mindful and just breathe 🙏

Here’s a throwback if I’ve ever seen one! Sent to me from my amazing friend Debbie, this was 10 years ago today!

I had just trained in Aerial Pilates with her and was so excited to be offering these classes in Leith.

The hammock was my happy place for so long. A place that I felt free, mostly when I was hanging upside down, or the perfect place for a cheeky nap when I had the studio 🤭

Slow Sundays 💞

This year is all about choices.

We all have the power to make choices.. but sometimes the pressure to choose a certain path makes us feel powerless, like we don’t have a say at all.

It can take a lot of courage to choose yourself and not worry over the impact that might have on others. But I promise you this, it’s worth it.

Choosing you, to fill your own cup, to giving yourself those little acts of self-care.. it’s so worth it.

A choice I’ve made in the last few months (and aim to stick to in 2026) is to slow down.. take pauses.. appreciate everything a little more.

Not having a schedule on the weekends, just taking the day as it comes.. it’s taken some pressure off and massively improved my mental health.

Make choices that work for you, because you are the most important person in your world ✨💞

Yesterday’s Kawasaki Disease follow-up appointment didn’t go 100% the way I’d hoped. But that’s ok.

Sometimes we have to take a step back and remind ourselves of all the positives going on 💚

✅ I have a little boy that’s ALIVE and (mostly 🤣) healthy

✅ We have a fantastic team of NHS staff who go above and beyond

✅ I have a wonderful client base that appreciates the freedom of movement and benefits of skincare, and this allows me to be at home with my babies and attend these appointments without worrying about work💚

Shout out to Societi, the U.K. Foundation for Kawasaki Disease. If you have kids in your life please make yourself aware of the Kawasaki symptoms 💚💚

This time last year, my love affair with skin was just beginning.

I’ve always had such sensitive skin, skin that kicked off at stress, food, weather etc.
