We’re absolutely gutted to be saying goodbye to Ruan as he and his family prepare to move back to Brazil.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of watching Ruan train or play will know just how talented this wee guy is. His willingness to take players on, his confidence on the ball and, most importantly, his desire to play the game as he sees it have made him an absolute joy to watch.

Everyone at Rosewell Football Academy wishes Ruan and his family all the very best for their move back to Brazil and for whatever the future holds.

Continuing our photos from the signing night, here are our 2016’s. Many of these kids have been with the academy since the beginning! They are such a committed, enthusiastic and dedicated team! Looking forward to having them back at training next month!

Now featuring a few of our 2017’s! Some of these kids have been with the academy since our first sessions back in 2021. Watching these kids grow up into the footballers they are now is such a privilege!

Coming up next are our 2018’s. This team are full of character, energy and enthusiasm! They are developing as a team week after week and we are very proud of how far they have come!

Next up is our 2019’s who joined us for our signing night this week. This group are full of enthusiasm and work so hard. Looking forward to another fun season with them after the summer!

Our next age group is our tenacious 2020’s team. We can’t wait to see this team start fun fours next year, they are proving to be a very exciting team to watch and see develop into young players.

What a great night we had at The Steading, Rosewell for our signing night. First up were our youngest players in the academy! Our youngest age groups are currently full however we hope to increase capacity over the Summer!

Our 2013’s received trophies to celebrate the end of their season! Huge thank you to Rosewell Community Bowling Club for letting us use the venue and to our coach Derek for organising everything!

Please come along to the Roswell and District Community Council pub quiz night on Saturday the 20th! They have been great supporters of the academy so we would love it if anyone can go along to event!
