Nice Carp out this week for Sam. Weather has been so up and down. Thanks to bailiff Thomas Biggs for doing a cracking job strimming the whole site. Tom is a professional gardener. If anyone needs any work doing, highly recommend.

What a lump out off the top! The place fished really well today. Missed about 3 or 4 Carp too. Struck the hook straight out of their mouths....amateur.

Biggest fish out of our very own Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery this year. Will we have a 20lber soon? Maybe we already have. Time will tell.

Just been sent these lovely pictures from Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery member Gavin who did a 24 hour with his son. Again the fishing continues to be quality over quantity. They had 3 decent Tench and just the 1 double. Better than a blank.

We've been investing in the future by spending yet more money on stock for Fall Birch after another winter of constant Cormorant predation. Thanks to the Angling Trust we were given a grant to help build some cages to act as fish refuges and as well as ropes over the water towards the end of Autumn, we hope that more juveline fish will survive to adulthood.
