Women’s Dive Day has become a global movement bringing divers together with a shared connection to the ocean and a desire to protect it. What started as a celebration has grown into something more powerful: a day to build confidence, strengthen community, and turn passion into action.

In 2026, the focus on sharks, rays, and citizen science highlights the role every diver can play in protecting marine life, turning curiosity into real impact. From logging sightings to contributing critical data, each dive becomes part of a larger effort to understand and safeguard the ocean.

We'll be a little late as Women’s Dive Day is 18 July! (We're diving on the 19th!)
While there aren't any sharks or skates in capers we'll do our best cleaning up as we always do to help keep it clean and beautiful!

Join us for the day after women's dive day for a chilled day of diving at Capernwray! We'll meet at the diving bell at 9am to chat through the plan and buddy up. Expect 2–3 dives depending on what everyone’s up for.

This Sunday’s DPV Diver Course is officially armed and ready with a full line-up of scooters after every plan from A to Z spectacularly imploded. Huge appreciation to the dive centres and legends who stepped in at lightning speed to help us source enough DPVs to keep the course running smoothly.

Hi all, we’re looking for people to do surface cover at Capernwray on Saturday and Sunday. Anyone can jump in and help and we’ll walk you through everything, so no experience needed. We’d really appreciate any help. If you’re free for either of the days, give me a shout.

Hi everyone! We are in need of a willing volunteer to help us out this weekend please! We need someone to be our surface support at Capernwray on Saturday (tomorrow)!
