WOMEN'S TOUCH RUGBY

Women's touch rugby is on every Monday 6.30pm-7.30pm at Bolton Rugby Club. Come and join in our fun, friendly sessions where you can gain confidence, fitness and new friends!
Touch rugby is a non-contact form of rugby so it's a fun and easy sport for everyone. You don't need any experience, just turn up and join in, you can bring a friend (or two) with you too!

This week's Throwback Thursday features the 1990 Holland tour - based in Maastricht staying on a boat hotel on the river, what could go wrong………

Bolton played in a two day - eight team tournament in Belgium consisting of:
2 Dutch
2 Belgian
2 French
2 English sides.

Despite the rigorous schedule of coach travel, ferries, sightseeing and matches…..
Bolton fought their way through to the tournament final.
Unfortunately as the injuries began to stack up, Bolton eventually lost narrowly in the final to their hosts Standard Liege Rugby

On their way back home Bolton stopped off in Rotterdam to play Zoetermeer in one last match........what a great idea…..

A fantastic trip, returning with silverware on what we believe was Boltons first tour outside the British isles
