We are starting early on Saturday to miss the afternoon heat, however we are doing a final ground inspection tomorrow lunchtime and will post an update then π€

π ONE DAY EVENT β SATURDAY TIMINGS & IMPORTANT INFORMATION π
Please see the timings for Saturday's One Day Event below.
β° Please arrive in plenty of time for your allocated slot to help ensure the day runs smoothly.
π On arrival, please check in at the caravan and present your equine passport showing an up-to-date flu vaccination (not administered within the last 7 days).
π’ Back numbers will be issued to those who do not already have one. Members may use their existing club back number.

1οΈβ£ Dressage
2οΈβ£ Showjumping
3οΈβ£ Cross Country / Working Hunter
Important Rules
π΄ Dressage
All tack and equipment must be dressage legal, including an ordinary snaffle bridle only. Martingales and bearing, side or running reins of any kind are forbidden.
Reins with elasticated inserts are not permitted.
Bandages, boots and any type of blinkers are not permitted.
Breastplates and breast girths are permitted.
Neck straps or balancing straps (a loop on the front of the saddle) are permitted at all levels.
βοΈ Riding Hats / Helmets
Hats must meet the current safety standard and be worn in all phases.
Covered jockey skulls are permitted for the Dressage phase.
π¦Ί Body Protectors
Must be worn by all riders during the Working Hunter phase.
Must also be worn by junior riders during Showjumping and Working Hunter.
π§€ Gloves
Gloves must be worn in all phases.
π« Spurs
Spurs are not permitted in the Junior class.
π― Whips
Maximum length 75cm.
βοΈWeather
It is expected to be a hot day. Whilst jackets and long sleeves are expected, we will take a sensible and flexible approach for competitors with later start times should temperatures become particularly high.

Wow what a day. The weather was kind to us after the sweltering temperatures this week. The return of Working Hunter proved very popular, it was great to see π
