Saturday will mark the first pre-season fixture of our new U15’s season as we take on AFC Egerton Reds away.

The lads have worked incredibly hard in training over the last few weeks, showing fantastic effort, commitment and a real desire to improve. Today’s game isn’t about the result – it’s about getting minutes into the legs, building fitness, trying new things and continuing to grow as a team.

Pre-season is all about preparation, learning and enjoying being back together on the pitch. We can’t wait to see the boys back in action and take another step forward ahead of the new season.

Nice bit of end of season training session for the legends!! Managed to dodge the rain and enjoy some football.

I (Barlow) have been unwell for the passed two/three months with a serious liver condition and to be back amongst the lads, coaching again with Mike & Neil was fantastic!! Good to be back with a top, top set of lads.

TOP GOALSCORER with a massive 37 goals was awarded to ZAK WARBURTON ⚽️

ASSIST KING with a huge 25 assists was awarded to LAKARI WIGGAN 👟

PARENTS PLAYER who had a tremendous season was voted for and awarded to RILEY EDWARDS

MOST IMPROVED was awarded to ROMAN SNEDDON who really has turned around his development this season, he fully deserves this and needs to be really proud of how he put in so much effort to better himself 👏🏻👏🏻

MANAGERS PLAYER was awarded to NOAH McMANUS, Noah really has been a pleasure to coach, always on time to every session and matches. More so, has had to play in defence and midfield, as our number 9 and striker he hasn’t moaned or sulked, just got on with it and did it with such grace and effort! A true team player and a coaches dream 🙌🏻👏🏻

TRAINER OF THE YEAR, this is collated from the weekly trainer of the week. It’s no surprise that this was awarded to our CAPTAIN FANTASTIC, who leads by example in every sense ANTONI CHOCHREK. 🙌🏻💪🏻👏🏻

Lastly and the best award to have in our eyes, the PLAYERS PLAYER award as this is voted by your own team mates. This was split in the end and awarded to two genuine Legends, the impeccable LAKARI WIGGAN and the beast at the back BENTLEY BARBER!

As we come to the end of another fantastic season and celebrate at our Presentation Night, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who made it possible.

To our players – thank you for your hard work, commitment, effort and teamwork throughout the season. We are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved, both on and off the pitch.

To our parents and families – thank you for the support, encouragement, lifts to training & matches, matchday help and for being there every step of the way. This truly is appreciated!

Sad news reaching us from Englands training camp 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our number 10, 13-year-old Elliot Sent Home from England World Cup Squad Following “Serious Breach” of Snack Protocol

England Football can confirm that 13-year-old Elliot has today been released from the England World Cup squad following what officials are describing as “an incident of an amusing but highly disruptive nature”.

The decision was made after Elliot was found to have packed an excessive amount of Haribo, claimed the best seat on the team coach, and repeatedly referred to himself as “Man of the Match” before the game had even kicked off.

Sources close to the squad say tensions rose further when Elliot allegedly celebrated a training ground nutmeg with a knee slide, despite being clearly warned that “we’re saving the celebrations for the final”.

A spokesperson for England said:

> “Elliot is a talented young player with a bright future, but standards are standards. The coaching team felt his behaviour around the snack table, combined with his refusal to stop saying ‘send him for a hotdog’, left us with no option but to send him home.”

Elliot is said to be disappointed but remains in good spirits. He has accepted the decision and has already informed friends and family that he “would have carried England anyway”.

His parents have confirmed he will now return to domestic duties, including tidying his room, putting his boots away properly, and not leaving empty water bottles in the car.

England wish Elliot all the best and look forward to welcoming him back once he has completed his rehabilitation programme, currently understood to involve one week without FIFA, no fizzy drinks before training, and a written apology to the nutmegged defender.
