🟢🔵⚪ TOP OF THE LEAGUE! ⚪🔵🟢

Saturday’s convincing 5–1 victory over then league leaders Darlington DSRM was another big performance from the lads and, importantly, saw us retain top spot in the league. 💪⚽

It’s still a long season and there is plenty of football to be played, but results and performances like Saturday’s are hopefully a step in the right direction and a reflection of where we want to be come the end of the season.

We know there will be plenty of challenges along the way, but the lads are putting in the work, competing for each other and showing that we mean business.

Top of the league. That's where we want to stay. 👊

When he's not breaking records and making it look easy, you can usually find Robbie enjoying a few tipples in the bar! 🍻⚽ Rumour has it he's particularly fond of the old firewater! 🔥🥃😂

⭐ SCOTT HENDERSON

Scott hasn't been with the team that long, but he's fitted in really well and become part of the furniture already! 🟢🔵⚪ If the football doesn't work out though, we're pretty sure he could make a living as a Scooby-Doo/Shaggy impersonator! 🤣🐕

⭐ STUART McSHERRY — OUR VICE CAPTAIN

The man who keeps us all entertained and on our toes! 😂 People say Stu is grumpy and angry...Not us, we think he is simply misunderstood! 😤🤣

⭐ STU MACKAY

This is the piano man's first season with the lads, and we're delighted to have him on board. 🟢🔵⚪Although we're pretty sure he only joined for the social aspect! 🍻😂

Not that we're complaining...

⭐ STEVEN BATES

Boy does this man love his spreadsheets! 📊😂 There is a spreadsheet for everything...Although strangely, he doesn't appear to have one for tracking when it's his round! 🍻👀🤣

⭐ WAYNE SIMPSON — TAZ

We're not why we think of Taz when we think of Wayne it could be nobody can understand him... 🤔😂 or he leaves the opposition in the wake of his own spinning whirlwind! 🌪️💨

⭐ GRAEME LITTLEWOOD

A man who loves his football when he's fit, but when he's not running around a football pitch, you might find him playing padel or supporting West Ham! ⚽🎾🔨

⭐ CRAIG PETRIE

When he's not bossing around his minions and plotting to take over the world, Craig can usually be found taking the mick out of the lads and planning our next night out! 🌎😂🍻

⭐ JAMIE WALLACE

The proud founder of the plunging V-neck! 👕😂
And, to be fair, boy can he pull it off! 😎

⭐ KEVIN GRAHAMSLAW

New to the team this year, and he has he slotted in with ease! 🟢🔵⚪
He does like the odd moan... but we're putting that down to his age! 😂👴

⭐ NEIL BLADES

Like quite a few of the lads, Neil has played for BTFC at all levels. ⚽🟢🔵
Although we think he's only playing this season because he finally got sick of us asking! 😂

⭐ MARTYN HEPPLE

Another one who has played for BTFC at all levels. 🟢🔵⚪

Apparently, Martyn passing the ball within earshot of goal is about as rare as Martyn getting a round in! 🍻😂

⭐ PAUL GATES

One of the elders and quieter men of the team, and he loves his football. ⚽

He loves it almost as much as he loves telling kids off for running around the swimming pools at work! 😂🏊‍♂️

⭐ PAUL JOISCE

A man known for his football ability and talents... ⚽👏

However, he's also become pretty well known for picking up the odd injury! 🤕😂

⭐ RICHARD HUNTER

At school he's known as Mr Hunter...But to us, he's simply Mr Reliable! 💪

Reliable both on and off the field, and exactly the sort of player every team needs. 🟢🔵⚪

⭐ RICHIE ORR

Of course, being a Orr, there was only ever going to be one club for him... Blyth Town! 🟢🔵⚪

But Rich is also a keen lager lover, with a particular fondness for Fosters! 🍺😂

So next time you see him, do the decent thing...get the man a pint! 🍻🤣
