An uneventful first half ended with the home side taking the lead in added time with an Ollie Young shot took a massive deflection of Alex Bull leaving Rafter with no chance.
The Blues stopper had earlier made a fine save from another deflection.
The Blues were slow to start the second half and found themselves two down after an hour when Young found himself unmarked on the back post for a simple tap in.
The Blues rallied and got a goal back through Burns after good work by Gibbs down the left.
The good work was then undone moments later when more poor marking on the far post saw Young complete his hat trick.
A change of shape for the final 15 minutes saw Tanner up front alongside Burns the makeshift striker found himself through on goal his deft touch over the advancing Undy keeper Roberts who sent Tanner in the air, everyone in the Causeway were expecting the officials to give a penalty only for a play on call.
Undy held firm and took a deserved three points!
After 6 away league games, next Saturday we host our first league home game of the season, as Cwmbran Town are the visitors for a Torfaen derby.
