On Tuesday we travelled to Blackpool North Shore for another crucial Fylde Coast Handicap League fixture.

A 2.5–2.5 result away from home against a strong North Shore side is one we’re pleased with. Several matches went all the way to the 18th, making for a great evening of competitive golf.

The result keeps us half a point clear at the top of the league, with every point proving vital as the season reaches its conclusion.

A big thank you to Blackpool North Shore for their hospitality, and we now look ahead to welcoming Knott End to Blackpool Park next week.

🏆 Captain’s Prize Final 2026 ⛳

This Saturday sees our prestigious 36-hole Captain’s Prize Final take place, with the morning start sheet now confirmed and the opening tee times set.

Our 2026 Captain, William RA Phelps, will have the honour of seeing the finalists off as they compete for one of the club’s most coveted trophies. We wish every player the very best of luck and hope you all enjoy what promises to be a fantastic day’s golf.

The celebrations continue into the evening with our Presentation Night, where we’ll not only crown this year’s Captain’s Prize winner but also present trophies to the winners of the finals played earlier in the season.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the club for what promises to be a brilliant day of golf and a fantastic evening celebrating our winners at Blackpool Park Golf Club.

Monday saw us welcome Lytham Green Drive Golf Club to Blackpool Park for the first leg of the Cockerill Cup Final.

It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, with LGDGC taking a 3-2 advantage into the second leg, but the tie is far from over. There were some excellent matches throughout the evening, and with everything still to play for, we’ll head to Lytham determined to turn it around.

Last night we welcomed St Anne’s Old Links to Blackpool Park for another important Fylde Coast Handicap League fixture.

It proved to be a great night for the team as we secured a 4–1 victory, keeping our league title hopes firmly on track. A big thank you to the lads from St Anne’s Old Links for a competitive match played in great spirit.

Our attention now turns to two huge fixtures next week. On Monday, we host Lytham Green Drive in the first leg of the Cockerill Cup Final, before travelling to Blackpool North Shore on Tuesday for another crucial league match.

With just three league fixtures remaining, there’s still everything to play for.

Last week we made the trip to Fleetwood Golf Club for Match 13 of the Fylde Coast Handicap League.

Although we didn’t come away with the win, taking 2 points from one of the toughest away fixtures in the league is a solid result and keeps us firmly in the title race.

A big thank you to Fleetwood for their hospitality and for a great evening of competitive golf.

Tonight, we welcome St Anne’s Old Links to Blackpool Park with the league still very much up for grabs. We’d love to see plenty of support out on the course.
