FCFC CASUALS — A NEW CHAPTER FOR FYLDE COMMUNITY FC 💙⚽

Over the past two years, Fylde Community FC has grown beyond anything we could have imagined.

What started as a vision to bring people together through football has continued to grow, and with that growth has come more players, more opportunities and an even stronger sense of community.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce the creation of our second men’s team — FCFC Casuals.

FCFC Casuals will be about more than results on a Saturday. It’s about getting lads together, getting active, building friendships, having a laugh and, most importantly, creating a place where people feel part of something. This has been created with men’s mental health at its heart!🧠❤️

This team’s management will be taken by Andy Lines (Manager) and Jack Howarth (Assistant Manager) - two lads who understand what this club is all about!💙

Blackpool United 2-3 Fylde Community Football Club

TEN MEN. THREE GOALS. ONE MASSIVE WIN. 💪

A day to remember for FCFC as we overcame adversity to secure a brilliant, hard-fought 3-2 victory over Blackpool United.

After a back-and-forth opening, Jenson Montague opened the scoring in style. The midfield dynamo beat his man before finding the net with a delightful long-range strike on his weaker foot. 🚀

We doubled our advantage shortly after, with Sam Hinds corner deflecting in off a defender. ⚽️

The second half brought plenty of drama. Blackpool United pulled one back before Jack Howarth was shown a red card after coming out of his box and stopping a one-on-one effort with his hand.

That left us with 10 men, but the lads dug deep.

A huge shout-out to Sam Stemp, who once again stepped up and filled in between the sticks. 👏🧤

Despite being a man down, FCFC found a third. Aidan Heath produced a lovely finish following a corner to restore our two-goal advantage.

Blackpool United pulled another goal back from an indirect free-kick inside our box to make it 3-2, setting up a tense finish.

But the lads stood firm.

Resilient. Determined. Together.

We saw the game through to secure a massive win, before also claiming victory in the penalty shoot-out that followed. 🏆

A proper team performance and a result the whole squad can be proud of.

Monday Night Casuals 10/08⚽️

As always on Monday nights here at FCFC, it was Casuals. Another opportunity for 18 lads to get out on the pitch, play some football and let off some steam!

This week’s teams were Leyland’s 9 vs Stemp’s 9 and it started with a banger! An absolute screamer from Coops to set the tone 🚀🔥Goals then flew in for the rest of the night at both ends of the pitch!

This was probably our highest scoring casuals session to date with the final score finishing 15-8 to Stemp’s 9! What a night! Don’t let the score line fool you, it was a closely fought game throughout with Stemp’s team ultimately proving more clinical with their chances!

Goal scorers for Leyland’s 9 were Coops & Ethan R both scoring 1, with Ethan B and Harrison both scoring Hat tricks ⚽️

And the Goal scorers for Stemp’s 9 were Aidan with 4, Harry with 3, Ben Ches and The Bertster scoring 2 each whilst Mike and 5G both scored 1 ⚽️

🏆 Leylands 9 MOTM :- Keiffer - Some top quality saves from the man in between the sticks sees him earn MOTM.

🏆 Stemp’s 9 MOTM :- Harry - A complete performance from the man in midfield topped off with a Hat trick sees him win MOTM.
