What a day for these boys! ⚽️
Coming top of their group, taking them to the Cup Quarter Finals and getting through to the semi-final.
The semi-final ended in a draw meaning dreaded penalties.
The boys kept calm and made it through to the final, only to have to go through penalties again!
Well deserved trophy for all the boys today! 🏆

A great morning out at Middleton and Overton tournament yesterday, a narrow loss in the cup quarter final is never great, but having former teammates coming over to say hi 👋 , is always nice and despite club badges, shows the mutual respect for each other 💙🤍

At the weekend, some of the boys supported the bed push for Trinity Hospice. They walked from South Pier to North Pier raising vital funds. The boys did amazing especially with the heat ☀️

A great afternoon spent at Highbury Stadium ⚽️
We came second in the group stage, got to the semi final of the cup, dominated the game, only to lose on dreaded penalties.

On Saturday, we had a great friendly game vs our friends at Lytham Blues.
Our sponsor came down to watch and award the MoM award.
After some fantastic performances and efforts out of position, it proved too difficult to award one player so Dave Bispham Automotive opted for PM and GO 🏆

Again, hard to decide on one player for Parents Player so it was awarded to AM and FW 🏆

Last league fixture of U9s

Team MOM today for continuing to show the development and progress shown over the past few weeks.
Each player working so hard for each other on a hot morning, owning mistakes, covering runs, sharing the ball at the right time and defending in numbers when needed.

CH awarded parents player of the day, lots of energy and drive with some great individual brilliance

These lads are a pleasure to be around week in week out and plenty of fun expected as we enter tournament season too ⚽️
