I have been in the sports, fitness, bodybuilding and martial arts training all my life. I am ex forces; I have competed in sports and bodybuilding for over 30 years. I have trained everyone from young adults to the retired, doctors, nurses, teachers, competitive boxers, bodybuilders and athletes!

Saturday 13th June 2026 here at Better Bodies Blackburn Ltd, Unit 1 Europa House, Bennington Street, Blackburn, BB2 3HP

Daily deals to boost your workouts are now back! Limited time only at £4.20 💪

Preworkouts can also be in the form of foods before you train. Examples of this are through bananas, sweet potatoes and an omelette 🥘🍳🔥
Intra workouts provide quick hydration and energy during your session. This isn't necessarily needed to be eaten if you've had enough carbs and protein 90 mins before your workout. However if you do need to get a higher intake of carbs for energy as an intra workout then foods such as raisins and bananas will do the trick!
Post workout means the protein and food needed for recovery and growth. This can be through the form of protein shakes and food. Foods which are high in protein and great for post workout include curried spinach, chicken, salmon and Greek yoghurt.
