SISTER SUCCESS!

Huge congratulations to two amazing sisters Chloe & Leonie who have both been nominated for the IDTA Theatre Awards following their recent tap exams.

Chloe received her nomination following her Grade 5 exam and Leonie received hers following her Intermediate exam.

This is a fabulous achievement and we are all incredibly proud of you both! Well done girls ❤️

Did you know you can shop Sandersons from home? 🛍️

Our dance shop is open every Saturday at Nelson, and during the week by appointment — but you don’t actually need to come into the shop to order.

You can browse and order online from home, from the car… wherever you are!

Then simply choose what works best for you:

It’s that time of the month!
Our September courses are now available to book via our website bookings calendar.

Please note that the monthly fees are always due before the start of the first session in each calendar month. It would be much appreciated if all could book their required place in advance of the session so that the class teachers aren’t having to chase fees whilst the class is taking place.

Also just to highlight that we have some guidelines/terms & conditions for attending classes at Sandersons. These can be found on our website for your reference.

Brand new Line Dance class starting this September at Sandersons Blackburn! 🤠

Meet Teacher Louise 👋

Louise will be leading our brand new class especially for complete beginners — so if you’ve always fancied giving Line Dancing a go, this is the perfect place to start.

Learn some of the most popular Line Dance routines, step by step, with everyone starting from the beginning.

All classes are pay as you go, so there’s no need to commit to a block.

From Year 3 onwards, dancers move into separate Ballet and Tap classes instead of the combined classes offered in the younger age groups, giving them the opportunity to develop each style in greater depth. As their skills and confidence grow, they'll begin working towards their IDTA examinations, learning new techniques while continuing to enjoy a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. Whether they're progressing through our school or joining us for the first time, we'd love to welcome them to the studio.

Our class times are as follows…

Tuesday 4.00-4.30pm – Ballet (Nelson)
Tuesday 4.30-5.00pm – Tap (Nelson)
Saturday 10.00-10.30am - Ballet (Nelson)
Saturday 10.30-11.00am – Tap (Nelson)
Saturday 11.00-11.30am - Ballet (Blackburn)
Saturday 11.30-12.00noon – Tap (Blackburn)

Start date for Tuesday classes – 8th September

Our Reception to Year 2 ballet and tap classes are the perfect place for young dancers to build confidence, develop new skills, and enjoy the magic of dance in a fun and encouraging environment. Whether they're moving up from our pre-school classes or joining us for the first time, every dancer is welcome to join us. We can't wait to see them shine and enjoy every step of their dance journey!

We have a brand-new recruit joining our MINI BALLET & TAP classes… meet Betsy Bear!

Betsy will be joining us from September; she’s already got her uniform ready and is so excited to start! We are told that Betsy can sometimes be a little bit mischievous so we can’t wait to see what antics she gets up to in class. We’re sure she’ll keep us all on our toes!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Kirsty. She was part of the Sanderson’s team for many years. As well as having great teaching skills she had a fabulous way with her pupils, making them feel welcome with fun being at the top of her list. Our thoughts are with her beautiful family, her friends and all who knew her ❤️
