My take on the whole Sydney Sweeney situation

I have been very quiet on this page and I’ll be very honest, I kind of put my fitness journey and my business on hold for a couple months, and the thing is …I’m not sorry one bit 🙌🏽

I packed up my entire life in the UK and moved to Las Vegas. Everything I knew, my gym, my house, my people - gone (not to be dramatic lol)

So I spent every waking minute I could with my family and friends. The gym could wait, it’s not going anywhere!

Did I gain body fat? Yes ✅
I enjoyed a few take outs and meals with everyone

Did I lose some muscle? Also yes ✅
I wasn’t attending the gym like I normally did

And I’m not going to pretend otherwise because that would make me exactly the kind of coach I built this page to push back against.

Stress and big life changes are good enough reasons to sometimes put things on hold.

Buuuuut, I’m back now!! 🤟🏽

I’m settled, gym found, routine back to normal and ready to ‘lock back in’ as they say - and I’m bringing you with me 💃🏻

The bit nobody talks about when you work for yourself… the business keeps running whether your head is in it or not.

I’ve been quiet for a couple of weeks and I wanted to be honest about why rather than just disappearing and reappearing like nothing happened.

A year from now you’ll be 12 months older either way 🫪

You can spend it doing what you’ve been doing recently: restrict, burn out, rebound, repeat.

ORRRRR

You can spend it actually learning how to eat and train properly ONCE, and never start over again.

My clients don’t get a ‘quick fix’ transformation. They get 12 months from now where food isn’t a constant negotiation, training is just part of their week, and they’re stronger than they’ve ever been.

It actually blows my mind that people like this can come online and actually ‘coach’ people. They are genuinely profiting off of making your life harder when you get older 🤯

Please can we stop trying to get as ‘skinny’ as possible and actually focus on having a HEALTHY body!

Not everyone is qualified to be a coach just because they are slim or ‘shredded’ btw…

From DMing me about coaching, being complete strangers to becoming one of my close friends 🤍

One of the reasons I love my job is that it can form special friendships 👭🏼

Sophie just happened to stumble across my Instagram back in 2023 and was enquiring with other coaches to see who would be a good fit for her. And boy am I glad she picked me!

What was originally a client/coach relationship soon blossomed into a lovely friendship!

And don’t even get me started on our conversations about Disney, I’ve actually found a fellow Disney adult that loves it as much as me 🐭🤣
