WE COULDN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU 💙

One of the things that made the first Bishop’s Stortford Running Festival so special was the incredible group of volunteers who gave up their time to help make the day happen.

From cheering runners around the course and handing out medals, to helping with registration, the event village and everything in between - our 2026 volunteers brought so much energy, kindness and community spirit to the event.

For 2027, we’d love to build another amazing volunteer team.

WHAT’S NEW FOR BSRF 2027? 👀

We listened to your feedback from the first Bishop’s Stortford Running Festival, and we’re making some exciting changes for 2027.

🏃 A new and improved route
We’re revising the course to avoid some of the narrower sections, give runners more space and introduce additional road closures to create a smoother race-day experience.

🍻 A better post-race experience
We’re improving refreshments and adding a brand-new b**r tent, giving runners, friends and family more reason to stick around, relax and celebrate after the finish.

🎪 More for the whole family
We want race day to be a brilliant day out for everyone, so in 2027 we’re adding even more entertainment for our younger supporters.

Same brilliant community atmosphere. Even better race-day experience.
