💜 What a morning at The Parent Hood! 💜

Today the lovely Ellie officially launched our Baby Massage & Baby Yoga classes at The Parent Hood in Harlow… and it was SO lovely seeing the room full of mums and babies. 🥹💜

If you haven’t discovered The Parent Hood Hub® | Community venue for hire in Harlow yet, you absolutely need to. It’s such a brilliant little hub for local families, with so many supportive classes, events and services for you from pregnancy right through into life with your little one.

And now Basking Babies is part of it too. 🦋

Our full terms begin NEXT WEEK and we have a few spaces available:

🧘‍♀️ Baby Yoga – Wednesdays 10:15am
From around 3 months to pre-crawling
A lovely mix of movement, songs, bonding, developmental play and relaxation – with new moves introduced as the weeks progress.

💜 Baby Massage – Wednesdays 11:30am
From birth to pre-crawling
Learn a full baby massage routine week by week, while enjoying a relaxed, baby-led space to slow down, bond with your baby and meet other local mums.

You didn’t need to attend today’s taster to join us – if you’ve been thinking about coming along, you can book straight onto the term.

Bishop’s Stortford mamas… this one’s my birthday treat to you 🎂🤍

I’m gifting 15 FREE places in each of our Baby Massage and Baby Yoga tasters at Great Hallingbury Village Hall on Thursday 24th September.

If you’ve seen Basking Babies popping up locally and wondered whether it would be right for you and your baby, this is your chance to come and experience it for yourself — completely free.

From around 12 weeks to pre-crawling

🤍 Baby Massage | 11.15am–12.45pm
From birth to pre-crawling, with babies 3 months+ very welcome too

We’ll spend some lovely one-to-one time with our babies, learn techniques you can use at home, meet other local mums and then stay for tea, coffee and some birthday cake 🎂

Our full Great Hallingbury courses begin the following week, so these tasters are particularly perfect if you’re considering joining us for the autumn term and would like to see what Basking Babies is all about first.

We’re bringing Basking Babies to Little Monsters House of Fun on Friday 25th September and, to celebrate my birthday, our Baby Massage and Baby Yoga tasters are completely FREE.

It’s my birthday next week, but I’m giving the presents this year 🎂🤍

On Tuesday 29th September, I’m opening up 15 completely FREE spaces in both Baby Massage and Baby Yoga at Jack Silley Pavilion.

This is for local families who’ve been thinking about joining Basking Babies and would love to come and experience it first.

Come and see what our classes are really about… learn some beautiful techniques with your baby, meet other local mums, have a cuppa and some birthday cake with us, and get a feel for our little community before deciding whether you’d like to join us for the next term.

Join us for a gorgeous Halloween edition of Basking Babies, bringing together some of our favourite parts of baby massage, baby yoga and sensory play for one spooktacular afternoon.

Think cosy cuddles, gentle stretches, glowing pumpkins, sensory play, little Halloween surprises and plenty of opportunities for those ridiculously cute first Halloween photos. 🥹🎃

We’ll also have time for our parent circle, giving you a chance to chat, connect and enjoy a cuppa with other local mums — plus your little one will make a special Halloween keepsake for you to take home. 🤍

BASKING BABIES IS EXPANDING IN HARLOW! 💚

Our sell-out classes are growing, and from next week you’ll be able to find us at The Parent Hood, Latton Bush 🤍

We’re kicking things off with two relaxed trial classes, giving you the chance to experience Basking Babies, meet other local mums and get a feel for our classes before committing to a full term.

📅 Wednesday 16th September

💙 10.15am – Baby Yoga
Suitable from around 3 months
Gentle stretches, movement, songs and relaxation designed to support your baby’s developing strength, coordination and body awareness, while building confidence, connection and having plenty of fun together.

🤍 11.30am – Baby Massage
Learn beautiful massage techniques you can continue using at home to support bonding, relaxation and common little discomforts – while enjoying some proper time to slow down and simply be with your baby.

But our classes are just as much about you, Mama.

A reason to get out of the house.
A warm, welcoming space where it doesn’t matter if baby cries, needs feeding or sleeps through half the class.
A chance to meet other mums, build your confidence and find a little village of your own.

No pressure. No expectations. Everything is completely baby-led. 🤍

Baby sleep takes up SO much brain space, doesn’t it? 🧠

How long was that nap?
When did they last sleep?
Why did they sleep better yesterday… and now suddenly don’t? 🥱

It’s so easy to get caught up in what your baby 'should' be doing.

Baby massage and yoga won’t magically make your baby sleep through the night (I wish I could promise you that 😂), but they can help them relax and settle… and give you some lovely little techniques to use at home too.
