Well done to the 410 people and 2 knights on horseback that took part in Castle Park parkrun on yet another hot Saturday.

Saturday weather: The forecast is 22C at 9.00am rising 24C by 10.00am. Please hydrate before (and during) and use suntan cream.

Volunteers: Nearly there, I need three more marshals and a number checker then we are good to go!

The fun fair is still on the field so please assemble at the same place as last week (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zn2AbBf3WRuCNZ858)

We will be starting at the mound again due to the Fair on Sworder's field.

The Funfair is on Sworder’s Field. The start will be moved to the Castle Mound this week.

We still a need a couple of marshals and other finish line roles (scanners, number checkers, token sorters) for us to proceed on Saturday. Please help.

Hi Everyone

It's getting warm out there isn't it!

Hopefully temperatures will have dropped slightly by the time Saturday comes around as we return after our enforced absence due to the Carnival last week.

However, we can only return if we have enough fab, friendly volunteers to make it happen. There are plenty of roles still available so if you can help out please drop me an email at [email protected] and I will pop you on the roster.
