Another great day at the club yesterday, packed all day!

First up we had Lennon Barrett taking on Kristen Lee Butters. Both snooker club players and both great lads. It was a close battle in the first half of the game with each player getting their nose in front at some point and it was knock for knock for the first 20 frames, but in the second half Lennon seemed to find another gear and took it up a notch, just at the time when Kristen started to miss some crucial pots. Lennon quickly built a 5 frame lead and Kristen just couldn't get back in to it. Lennon cruised to victory 20-13.

We had a great crowd in for it and both players were well supported!

Well played Lennon, great performance and held it together well to get over the line.

Commiserations to Kristen, a defeat is always tough to take but you took it well. You will bounce back from this I have no doubt.

We also had the singles league knockouts on yesterday. It was a great day all round, congratulations to all the winners,

It's a very special day for one of our team members today, cos' our favourite Scouser is 60 today!

I know he doesn't look a day over 80 but he is only 60 😂

It's quite remarkable that he has made it this far, so if anyone would like to buy him a pint, he'll be in the club tonight, twisting and moaning as usual (we'd be worried if he wasn't 😂) and probably getting beat off Gary Rouell and tipping up his birthday money 😉
