🏆 GREATEST DISTANCE TRAVELLED ON A BICYCLE WHILE BALANCING A FOOTBALL ON THE HEAD — GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS ATTEMPT 🌍⚽🚴‍♂️

On 29th August 2026, We were in Yenagoa, the capital city of Bayelsa State, to supervise an incredible Guinness World Records attempt by Bayelsa-born wonderkid Tonye Solomon Tonye Solomon Ballboy, popularly known as “Ball Boy.”

Tonye took on the challenge of attempting to break the record for the “Greatest Distance Travelled on a Bicycle Balancing a Football on the Head.”

Despite the heavy rainfall throughout the attempt, this young talent displayed extraordinary determination, focus, balance, and resilience, covering over 31 kilometres in 2 hours and 11 seconds while riding a bicycle and continuously balancing a football on his head. 👏🔥

This was more than just a record attempt — it was a powerful demonstration of what talent, discipline, courage, and unwavering belief can achieve.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this historic attempt possible, especially:

• Honourable Gentle Emilie, Commissioner for Education, Bayelsa State, for supporting, encouraging, and believing in Tonye’s incredible talent.

• My amazing team, for the dedication and hard work throughout the process.

• Bayelsa State Road Safety Command, for their support and assistance.

• The referees and officials, for their professionalism.

• Engineer Saviour & Team, the surveyors who helped ensure the attempt was properly monitored and documented.

• Uzochukwu, and the many good people of Bayelsa State who supported us throughout the journey.

My team and I are currently compiling all the necessary evidence and documentation from the attempt to ensure that it meets Guinness World Records’ requirements before submission later this week.

We remain hopeful and confident as we await the official outcome.
