Private Team Conditioning. 18 players. One private session.
Built around match week.

Nuneaton Town FC came to CityAthlete for a private team conditioning session in The Vault ride studio.

They had played on Tuesday, with another fixture on Saturday. The brief from the coaching staff was clear.

High tempo. Low resistance.

Get quality conditioning into the squad without putting unnecessary fatigue into their legs before the next match.

That’s the difference between making athletes tired and coaching them properly.

Strong energy from the lads throughout.

Coaches and team managers, message TEAM with your squad size and next fixture week. Team slots are limited and scheduled around member sessions.

“For top athletes, we got everything that you need.”

Birmingham 2022.
Javier and Joaquin Bello trained in this building,
back when it was called 5ways Transformation Gym.

Their coach, Luis Bello, said this on camera during the Games.
They went on to win bronze, England’s first-ever Commonwealth Games beach volleyball medal.

The name has changed. The standard hasn’t.

You don’t need to be an elite athlete. But you can train with the same structure, purpose and attention to detail.

CityAthlete. Athlete-level coaching, built for real life.

DM “ATHLETE” to start.

Birmingham has the European Athletics Championships this week.

Today, a piece of it walked into CityAthlete.
Great meeting Dutch national javelin thrower Ryan Jansen and his coach Bjorn Blommerde.

We talked training, performance and the journey behind CityAthlete,
then showed them around the gym.

From competing internationally to building a training space in Birmingham, moments like this mean something.

Different events. Same foundation.

Train with structure. Manage the load. Progress with purpose.
Most gyms sell access. We coach you like an athlete.

Great meeting you both. Bjorn Blommerde Ryan Jansen

Most people train. Very few prepare.

There's a difference between being fit and being ready for a competition floor.

Fitness keeps you moving.
Preparation keeps you moving when everything hurts.

We took athletes to the Hybrid Games last weekend.
6 weeks of structured prep.
Race-specific sessions.
Nothing wasted.

Watch to see what race day actually looked like.

This is semi-private coaching at CityAthlete.
One coach. Four athletes.
A programme built around your life and your goal.

DM ATHLETE. Tell us what you're training for.

We don't just coach people to be fitter.
We coach people to do things.

Last weekend that meant the Hybrid Games floor at the NEC.
Sled pushes, rope pulls, bag carries,
running on legs that had already given everything.

6 weeks of preparation.
3 sessions a week.
Built around their lives.

This is CityAthlete.
DM ATHLETE if you want in for 2026.

6 weeks. 3 sessions a week.
Built around their jobs, their schedule, their goal.

Last weekend Sarb,Tara, Saghar and Flis stepped onto the competition floor at the Hybrid Games, NEC Birmingham.

Sled pushes. Rope pulls. Sandbag carries.
Running on dead legs between every station.

They didn't show up hoping for the best.
They showed up prepared.

This is what we build at CityAthlete.
Competitors. People who train with a real target.

New intake now open for competition prep and semi-private coaching. Spots are limited.

Swipe to see how it went.

DM ATHLETE if you want to compete in 2026.

They didn't just enter. They competed.

Eight weeks of periodised prep.
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.

No shortcuts, no guesswork.
Then one weekend at the NEC putting it all on the line.

This is what coaching for performance looks like.
Busy professionals training like athletes and proving it under pressure.

Proud isn't a big enough word.

Want to compete at the next one?

DM ATHLETE — the next prep squad is limited to 8 spots.

I ran 100m in 10.29.
It taught me the one thing
most people in a gym get wrong.

Keep swiping.

When progress stalls, most people do more.
A sprinter can't. You get seconds to perform,
so every session has a purpose and nothing is wasted.

That's how we coach.

Busy professionals don't need more training.
They need better.
Train like an athlete. Perform like a pro.

What's actually in your way?
Time, energy or consistency?

One word below for our 2-week trial.

Four to a coach, kept small on purpose.

People keep asking for the secret formula.
Here it is.

Today's actual session, the same way I train every CityAthlete client.
It's time-based, not reps. Three rounds. Each round is three exercises back to back.

45s lower body. 15s transition.
30s upper body. 15s transition.
30s TRX. 90s rest. Repeat x3.

ROUND 1
Barbell back squat
Seated DB shoulder press
TRX fly

ROUND 2
Barbell RDL
Incline DB chest press
TRX chest press

ROUND 3
Barbell sumo deadlift
Flat DB chest press
TRX triceps press

Lower, upper, bodyweight. Every round. That's the structure. Push the engine on the squat, then hit the upper body while you're already breathing hard, then finish on the TRX. Nothing random.

The real secret isn't the exercises. It's running the right program with consistency, week after week. Same methodology I used as a professional sprinter. Still works at 35, 45, 55.

Steal this session. But if you want it built around your body and your schedule, DM ATHLETE and tell me your goal.
