Aikido Shoshin Ryu is a friendly Aikido association based in the Birmingham area of the UK, we practice traditional Aikido and as well as our regular classes hold regular courses and seminars open to all Aikido students. One week to go to our Summer Course....Happy to have Sensei Tony West from Shoshin Aikido/Poles worth Aikido as a guest Instructor.Also happy to announce that we will have Sensei Dominic Foster and some of our friends from The Aikido Fellowship/Fleet Aikido club coming up to join us.All are welcome regardless of grade or Association.
Proof of Insurance will be required.

This is Sensei Rebecca Hubbard
Rebecca was awarded the Richard Whitehouse award this year!
Now normally this is only given pre Christmas…
However sometimes in exceptional circumstances rules can change!
I’m not going to reveal how long Rebecca has been training but ..
early teenager and it was her birthday this week just past the 1/4 century ! 🙂
That smile on her face is a reminder of what dedication and commitment can achieve.
Always early to class,always cheerful and freely giving her time to help others whilst maintaining her own training.

Bec is a tougher young lady than she shows. (Well sometimes she does show it:)!

It’s Friday !
After another damp week
Come and burn off some of the lethargy:)
We are off to Hampshire tomorrow
for the course down at the Aikido Fellowship,
Those who are coming - it’s a 7am start!! ( I know- it’s a Sunday and lie ins are pretty important ! )
Sleep can wait till next Sunday- ..
Oh wait ….. that’s our course!!!
Sunday 10:30 -start 3:30 finish..
Helpers with mat laying and setting up will get first dibs on the cakes !
