I'm very pleased and extremely proud to announce that Daniel Price, one of my youngest students of Lau Gar style Kung Fu recently passed his 1st Degree Black sash grading.
I have been teaching Daniel since he was 7 years old and in that time I've watched him grow, develop, adjust and tweak his style in accordance with the syllabus in order for him to take and pass his first Black sash.
I'm so proud of this accomplishment, it is such a great accolade for both me, and Daniel.
Below you can read a testimonial from Daniel's mother:
My son Daniel began training with Danny when he was just 7 years old, and watching his journey to achieve his 1st Degree Black Sash has been incredible. Kung Fu has given Daniel so much more than physical skills – it has taught him concentration, self-discipline, self-control, respect, perseverance and a great connection to the world around him.
Sifu Danny has been a fantastic teacher and a great role model throughout the years, encouraging Daniel to push himself while always supporting his progress. My son genuinely loves Kung Fu and looks forward to every training session. It has become a huge part of his life, and the confidence and maturity he has gained through his lessons are clear to see. Seeing him perform is truly impressive, and I know much of that is down to the dedication, patience, and expertise of his Sifu, Danny.
We are especially proud that he is Sifu Danny's first student to achieve Black Sash, a milestone that reflects both my son's hard work and Danny's commitment to his students, especially Daniel being such a young age at just 12 years old. I really feel this is going to help him so much throughout his life.
Thank you Danny for everything you have done to help him grow, both as a martial artist and as a young person.
Furthermore; I would definitely highly recommend these classes to any parent looking for a positive, supportive environment where children can develop valuable life skills alongside martial arts which also includes the learning of the language he is taught in which is Cantonese.
