We were pleased to have Sensei Arthur Meek at our club last night, with another insightful training session. Even if it was a bit hot and sweaty!

We are honoured to have Sensei Arthur Meek 8th Dan Renshi instructing at our club in Birmingham on Thursday 13th August. Students from other clubs are welcome to join.

Congratulations to Tanya Simon Sheridan on passing his 1st Dan grading at the summer course.

He’s trained hard and put a lot of time and effort in, so it’s much deserved. The club is very proud of him.

A very different type of course today, with Sensei Vickerman focusing on the mind as well as the body, and how we should try to use both together. Interesting and insightful stuff.

An excellent time at the JMAC course today. Looking at shuto stance with Sensei Peter Hill, jukuren with Sensei Arthur Meek, and a variation of Basai kata with Sensei Tomiyama, who also gave us a brief history of karate. A very insightful and interesting afternoon.
