THE SPEECH FROM THE COACH 🗣️

“It’s great to see so many people here tonight — faces I recognise from the sidelines, and new faces I hope to see joining us next season.

We’ve had a memorable season, with records broken for the club. Next season is going to be challenging, but it’s a challenge I believe we are ready for. It may not all be sunshine, but I hope the support remains throughout to keep spirits high during the moments we may need it most.

From a coach’s point of view, this has been my favourite year of the three I’ve spent at Woodrush. From being relegated three years ago to now breaking records with an unbeaten season and securing promotion as league champions, it’s a journey I won’t forget.

A huge thank you to all the lads, old and new — your efforts this season have not gone unnoticed. This year has probably been the most demanding for me personally, with expectations running high right to the very end. To have the lads fully buy into what we wanted to achieve is something I’m incredibly grateful for. Now my expectations are even higher, and I know this group can turn it up another level next season.
