Two races. Two weeks. One mission ❤️

This April I’m taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon (12th April) & the Manchester Marathon (19th April) as part of Team PureGym, raising money for the incredible British Heart Foundation.

Every mile I run is for the millions affected by heart and circulatory diseases and for the families who rely on the life-saving research this charity makes possible.

If you can, please support the cause. Every donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference 🙏

Help me turn miles into impact.

“Ever felt like you’ve done all the training… but it still doesn’t feel like enough?”

That’s Maranoia 👇

It creeps in a few weeks before race day and suddenly your brain is saying:

• “What if I get injured now?”
• “What if I get ill before the start?”
• “What if something goes wrong mid-race?”
• “What if I’m just… not ready?”

And underneath all of that 👇
👉 “What if I fail?”

Here’s the truth…

You’re not underprepared.
You’re just stepping into something that matters to you.

That pressure? That doubt?
It shows you care.

But don’t let it steal what you’ve built.

✅ You’ve done the work
✅ You’ve earned your place on that start line
✅ You are more ready than you feel

Maranoia is normal — but it doesn’t get to decide your race.

Save this for race week 👇
And swipe for how to take back control.

Only 3 marathon training runs you actually need.

Not 7 sessions.
Not fancy gimmicks.
Not smashing yourself every week.

If you nail these 3 consistently, you’ll build endurance, speed AND resilience 👇

🏃 Easy Run
⚡ Speed Session
🧠 Long Run (with Marathon Pace)

Simple. Repeatable. Effective.

Most runners get injured because they overcomplicate training or run too hard too often.

Structure beats chaos every time.

More miles doesn’t always make you better - recoverable miles do.

Progress smart, stay healthy and the fitness will come 📈

Almost… a full house of PBs in 2025 🔔

Still plenty to be proud of and lots of work to do in 2026! 💪

After a really great first half of the year the 2nd half has definitely took a turn with big reduction in consistency, volume and intensity. Back to it for Manchester marathon 2:50 prep starting next Monday with a couple of events in the run up to keep it fun! As that’s why we do it….(Right? 👀)

☀️ Summer’s been a blast – PBs, sunny miles, and plenty of good times. But now the real magic starts… dark mornings, autumn vibes, and the winter grind that sets you up for BIG wins next year 💪🍂

We’ve still got a whole third of the year to play with — plenty of time to smash goals, build momentum, and finish 2025 stronger than ever. Let’s make it happen 🚀✨

Using a treadmill to get some miles in while it’s wet or just prefer it for your autumn event training? 🍂

Here’s some tips to get the most from your indoor running. 🏃‍♂️
