From building confidence and friendships to improving wellbeing and creating a genuine sense of belonging, inclusive tennis can have a powerful impact on individuals, families and communities.

πΎ Helping Shape the Future of Coach Education
Warwickshire Tennis is proud to celebrate the contribution of James Lang from Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club, who has worked with the LTA to create content for its Level 3 Tennis Coaching qualification.
Drawing on his lived experience as a tennis player with a learning disability, James collaborated with the LTA to develop an interactive learning resource for the "Coach the Person, Not the Disability" module. The content will help coaches across the country better understand how to support and develop players with learning disabilities.
As part of the LTA's Tennis Opened Up initiative, this new resource brings real-life experiences into coach education, helping make tennis more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
We're incredibly proud of James and the positive impact his work will have on coaches and players nationwide.
π Congratulations, James!
