The Green came out on top to win a tight game yesterday

Faizan Khan with a brilliant first century for the club, Gohar Nisar with 5️⃣6️⃣ and Raja Khan 🐶 with a vital cameo scoring 3️⃣9️⃣ ensuring we posted a decent total of 2️⃣7️⃣4️⃣

The game looked to be heading for a draw until Raja Shahzeb with 4️⃣ wickets and Gohar Nisar with a superb spell of death bowling to take 4️⃣ for 2️⃣2️⃣ off 8️⃣ overs intervened as the Green took all 2️⃣4️⃣ points, with the final wicket going down in the 49th over

The club lost Roger Bradley a true legend during the week and this win is dedicated to him and his family

Everyone at MGCC is deeply saddened by the passing of our former Player, President, Supporter and most importantly Friend, Roger “The Dodger” Bradley.

He was a true Marston Green legend. The best of the best and we are all absolutely distraught for the whole family.

There will be so many stories to share, tales to tell and good times to reminisce but for now we just send our love to Jo and the Marston Green CC family will make sure that this wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandad and Friend is never forgotten 💔
