🎉 Congratulations to Eilidh Harris (BMus1) on a fantastic performance last week at St Stephen’s, Stockbridge, Edinburgh. 👏🎶

🎹 This was an important event profiling the long-silent (and magnificent!) 1880 Father Willis. ✨ It was arranged by Sowne of Organe, an organisation dedicated to surveying historic organs in Scotland.

🎉 Congratulations to alumnus Nicholas Morris on being made an Honorary Member of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire! 👏

🎼 Nick completed two postgraduate qualifications with us, and went on to become Fellow and Director of Music at Queens’ College, Cambridge; and Assistant Director of Music at St George’s Hanover Square, London (Handel’s church!). He is also a very sought-after freelance performer.

👏 Congratulations, too, to Thomas Howell (Leonard Gibbons Organ Prize) and Timothy Stewart (John Campbell Prize). 🏆

🌟 We are also delighted to congratulate Paul Bambrough (honorary member of the organ department!) on being awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.🎓 Formerly Vice-Principal at RBC, and now Principal of The Purcell School, this honour is richly deserved.
