Where every stitch weaves a sense of belonging.

Every week at Saheli Hub, our women come together for crochet, knitting, learning, and conversation at St Andrews Community Centre in Handsworth. What begins as a creative session often grows into something much deeper - a space where women support one another, share stories, build confidence, and feel part of a community that feels like family.

At Saheli Hub, these sessions are more than just about craft. They are about connection, wellbeing, and creating a welcoming space where women can express themselves, learn new skills, and simply be.

For more information or if you would like to join these sessions, call us on 0121 446 6137.

Bike Week Celebration at Saheli Hub

We celebrated Bike Week yesterday with a lovely community lunch at Saheli Hub, bringing people together to share stories, make connections, and share our love of cycling.
At Saheli Hub, cycling is just one part of what we do, but it is a powerful part. For over two decades, we've supported women and communities to learn, lead, and enjoy cycling, and we've trained more than 4,000 women along the way.

Our cycling programmes include:
🚲 Learn to Ride
🚲 Park Riding
🚲 Led Road Rides
🚲 Inclusive Cycling Group ( Adapated Bike sessions)
🚲 Cycling Expeditions (UK wide)
🚲 Brompton Bike Loan Scheme
🚲 Men Only & Women Only Sessions
🚲 Free Bike Scheme for residents of Ward End, Alum Rock, Balsall Heath East & West, and Sparkbrook
🚲 Training support and mentoring for local ride leaders and Instructors

You can currently find us at:
πŸ“ Ward End Park
πŸ“ Calthorpe Park
πŸ“ Cannon Hill Park
πŸ“ Ackers Adventure

New locations coming soon!

We are proud to create spaces where cycling is accessible, welcoming, and community-led, whether someone is just starting out, returning to cycling after a break, riding socially to make new friends, or building confidence to cycle for everyday journeys and commuting.
One of the things we love most is the connections that are built through our sessions. With participants ranging from teenagers to our oldest rider, aged 83, we truly believe it's never too late to start cycling.

Bikes and helmets are provided, so all you need to bring is yourself.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at Calthorpe Hub and to all those who continue to be part of this incredible journey.
