Why 8 PM feels like a battleground. 🧠

If you are physically exhausted all day but mentally wired as soon as you sit down, your biology is trapped in a stress loop. Years of high cortisol have taught your brain that it’s not safe to rest.

💬 Does this happen to you every evening? Let me know in the comments below. 👇

The view is always worth the climb. ⛰️

I’ll never forget standing here.

The fresh air.
The silence.

The sense of perspective that only comes when you’ve worked hard to reach the top.
It reminded me of something I often say to my clients…

Healing isn’t a straight line.

There will be days when you feel like you’re making great progress.
There will be days when it feels like you’re standing still.
And there will be days when you wonder if you’ll ever reach the top at all.
But believe me when I say …every step matters.

When I was battling depression years ago, I couldn’t imagine a future like this.
I couldn’t imagine building a business I love.
Helping people across the world.
Being present for my children.
Or standing on top of a mountain, simply feeling grateful to be alive.

Life has a remarkable way of changing when you refuse to give up.
That’s why I have so much hope for the people I work with.

Not because I believe healing is easy.
But because I’ve seen what becomes possible when you address the root cause, keep showing up, and trust the process.

Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs don’t happen overnight.
They happen one small step at a time.
And one day…
You stop, look back, and realise just how far you’ve come.

If you can see it, you can do it.

If you’d like to understand why your body can become stuck in survival mode and how The Cellular Reset Method™ helps people address the root causes rather than simply manage symptoms, I’ve created a free masterclass for you.

P.S. This was taken at the summit of Adam’s Peak, the highest point I reached during my time in Sri Lanka.

Watching the sunrise above the clouds after the climb is a memory I’ll never forget. It reminded me that the hardest journeys often lead to the most rewarding views.

Self-awareness is powerful.

But awareness alone doesn't guarantee regulation.

Sometimes the body needs something different from the mind.

If you've spent years understanding the problem but still don't feel different, message RESET.

This cut taught me a lesson about health
yesterday when I sliced my finger making lunch.

It bled.
It hurt.

And I certainly didn’t just stand there hoping it would magically stop.

I cleaned it.
I dried it.

I protected it with the right dressing.
Then I trusted my body to do what it’s designed to do…

Heal.

But here’s the interesting part.

The plaster isn’t what heals the wound.
It simply creates the right environment for healing to happen.

Your body does the healing.

I think the same principle applies to so many of the people I work with.

For years they’ve been trying to cope with anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, fatigue, poor sleep or brain fog.

Many have become experts at managing their symptoms.
Very few have ever been shown how to understand why those symptoms developed in the first place.
At The Cellular Reset Method™, we don’t start with guesswork.

We start with answers.

We assess.

We test where appropriate.

We look beneath the surface to understand what’s keeping the nervous system and body stuck in survival mode.

Because symptoms aren’t usually the problem.

They’re often the body’s way of asking us to pay attention to something deeper.

When you understand the root cause, you can begin creating the conditions your body needs to recover.

Just like my finger.

The goal isn’t to fight the wound.

It’s to support the healing.

Clarity in your body. Certainty in your mind.

What symptom do you think your body has been trying to get your attention with?

P.S. Before anyone asks… yes, I did this making lunch! Thankfully, my knife skills are usually much better than this. 😂

You can understand your past intellectually and still carry its effects physically.

The goal isn't to live in the past.

It's to stop allowing the past to run the present.

One of the best therapists you’ll ever meet… has four legs. 🐾

There’s something incredibly calming about spending time with a dog.

They don’t worry about tomorrow.
They don’t replay yesterday.
They don’t care what people think of them.

They’re fully present.
As humans, we’re often the opposite.

Our minds are constantly analysing, planning, overthinking and preparing for problems that may never happen.

It’s exhausting.

One of the things I often explain to clients is that healing isn’t just about changing your thoughts.

It’s about teaching your body that it’s safe enough to come out of survival mode.

Nature helps.
Movement helps.
Laughter helps.
Connection helps.

And yes… sometimes a wagging tail and a sloppy lick on the hand helps too. 😊

It’s amazing how quickly your shoulders drop, your breathing slows and your mind quietens when you’re fully present with an animal.

Maybe they have something to teach us after all.

Who else finds that dogs have a way of making everything feel just a little bit better?

A holiday can remove you from your environment.

It doesn't automatically regulate your nervous system.

If you keep resting but never feel restored, there may be something deeper worth exploring.

Send me RESET if you want to understand what's keeping your system switched on.

Sometimes changing your environment changes your mind.

One of the things I encourage my clients to do isn’t particularly complicated.

Get outside.
Go somewhere different.
Break your normal routine.

Not because a walk, a weekend away or a change of scenery magically solves anxiety or burnout…

…but because our nervous system loves novelty and safety.

When we’re stuck in the same four walls, replaying the same thoughts and carrying the same responsibilities day after day, it’s easy to believe that nothing will ever change.

Then you step somewhere new.

You notice the trees.
The mountains.
A helicopter parked in someone’s garden! 🚁

For a little while, your brain stops scanning for problems and starts noticing life again.

That’s not the complete solution, of course.

If you’ve been living in survival mode for years, your body often needs deeper support than a holiday can provide.

But never underestimate the value of pressing pause.

A different view can remind you that a different future is possible.
Sometimes that’s where healing begins.

Have you ever noticed how much lighter you feel after spending time somewhere completely different?

Confession time… 🍔😂

One of the biggest myths in health is that you have to be “perfect.”

Perfect diet.
Perfect routine.
Perfect discipline.

The truth?

Perfection is exhausting.

I’ve worked with people who are terrified of eating a burger because they think one meal will undo months of progress.

It won’t.

What has a much bigger impact on your health is living in a constant state of guilt, stress and “all or nothing” thinking.
Health isn’t built by what you do occasionally.
It’s built by what you do consistently.

I train most weeks.
I prioritise sleep.
I look after my nervous system.
I eat well the majority of the time.
And every now and then…

I enjoy a burger without analysing every calorie or feeling guilty afterwards.

That’s not cheating.
That’s living.

Real health should give you more freedom, not less.

So yes…

The burger was absolutely worth it. 😄🍔

Who’s with me… what’s your favourite “treat” meal?

Michael
