Wow! What an amazing week we’ve had in San Sebastián at the Global Dance Finals!…. It was an huge achievement in itself for Emmi and Hayden to even qualify for finals but I’m pleased to announce our results;
✨ Hayden Lyrical Solo - Runner up Champion - 2nd Place
✨ Hayden Jazz Solo - 4th Place
✨Emmi Tap Solo - Runner up Champion - 2nd Place
✨Emmi & Hayden Jazz Duet - 7th Place
✨Emmi & Hayden Lyrical Duet - 8th Place

Words cannot express how immensely proud I am of them both, they shone at the stage as they always do. This might be the end of their competing journey but it sure isn’t the end of their dance journey! I’ve watched them both grow over the years into amazingly talented dancers and it’s been a privilege to have been there for them both every step of the way….. and I still always will be! Well done to you both from myself and everyone at Excels! We love you loads!

This Sunday 31st May Excels dancers will be at Morrisons Rubery bag packing to raise money for the school fund. Over 50 Excels students are going to perform at the Indigo at the O2 in London in July and we are raising money for the dancers travel fees. Please come down to support Excels and any spare change would be greatly appreciated. 🩷🖤

Excels Dance Academy is excited to announce that our Dancers, Emmi & Hayden have successfully qualified to represent Team England, this year, at the Global Dance Open 2026 Finals, held in San Sebastián, Spain!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️

In addition to competing as a Duet, we are proud to announce that, both, Emmi & Hayden will be competing as Soloist this year too’!🌟
