"In 1923, Harold Langley of Sparkhill Harriers won the highly coveted Wenlock Pentathlon Gold Medal. He later represented Great Britain at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games (alongside Harold Abrahams and Eric Liddell) and served as a Field Judge during the 1948 London Olympics. His performance is still celebrated by both the Wenlock Olympian Society and the Sparkhill Harriers"

This year will be the 140th running of the Wenlock Olympian Summer Games Athletics and 10k road race and will take place on Sunday 12th July at William Brookes School, Much Wenlock. More information and details on how to enter can be found by following the relevant links on this web page:
