Hello playmates!

This is the result of the TVCC ‘Open the box’
With the cash pot been won 2wks ago! This weeks pot is a modest £60, but still better than a pimple on your a # 🙂

With a few people in, all eyes turned to Pam, as we asked her to select this weeks winning name.
Following what seemed like an age! Pam eventually managed to select a ticket (Well done Pam 🙂) Whom would the lucky person be?……,. And this weeks winner 🎶 🎵 🎶 is our very own Sandy.
As a hush descended over the club, Sandy delved deep! Slowly a dull looking unobtrusive key appeared, but like Spurs looking for their first win? It ain’t happening this week 😂😂😂 Unlucky Sandy, close but not cigar 🙂 Better luck next time! Said nobody

Sandy however does however win a crisp £10 note, and a Free drink.

Next week the pot swells to £65 🙂

Club Open today from 1:30, whilst changing rooms empty of this seasons cricket gear (Yes lads, your kit does need cleaning before the 2027 season 😬)

Its as good a reason to Open the bar as any?
Join the Chairman for his last Saturday drink (or two) until October 17th. Come and reminisce about the season just gone, life in general, the future, the past, get out the rain?,...... relax with a pint @ music and just let life drift by.

Howdy doody partners!

Limited tickets will be available from the club from Saturday 19th September, for our club night on Saturday October 17th.

Tickets cost £5pp, which includes, live music, hot/cold buffet, games and the chance to win Free shots.

There will also be a raffle on the night, including the prizes everbody wants 🤣🤣

Doors Open.... To be confirmed.

With our cricket season finishing on Saturday 12th Septemeber, fear not as the club will still be Opening for selected dates and events......

Tuesday 15th September. Club Open from 7pm for cricketers to call in to pick up kit bags etc

Saturday 19th Club Open from 1:30pm for rest of cricket kits to be claimed.

Sunday 20th Club Open from 1:30pm (Work party meeting! have you got a few hours to spare over the next few weeks? as we start to shut down the cricket side of things, and make ready to paint changingrooms etc

*Please note! The bar will also be Open on these dates 🙂

Massive Thanks to Steve Walker, for helping out for over 5hrs, as we started to scarify our cricket square.

Scarifying means to remove dead moss, weeds, and matted grass (called thatch). This allows water, air, and nutrients to reach the grass roots.

We scarified the square in the direction of play, we then scarified at 90deg to the first cut, and then finally started to scarify diagonally, but ran out of time 😞

Today’s effort saw us remove over 40 barrow loads of moss etc etc.

Wednesday will see us finishing of the diagonal scarifying, and barrowing off the waste.

Good evening boys & girls, it’s Sunday and the big & little hands of the clock are both pointing to the 6, So it’s Open the box time 🙂

With all tickets perfectly folded by Mavis (👏) all eyes turned to Jacob. We asked local artist Ala N Keenan, to pick out a lucky ticket, and this weeks name was Mr Thighs himself Ryan Davies. With Ryan not in the club, we again asked Ala to pick a key on his behalf 😬 unlucky Ryan? Ala stick to painting 👍

Good morning!

Well here we are, Last game of the season.....

Join us today at 1pm as TVCC 2nd XI take on Upton CC.

Join us one last time in the creche, on the boundary, in the club, as our 2nd XI take to the field at 1pm.

Its amazing how quickly 26 weeks have come and gone! There have been many Ups & Downs throughout the season, but Thanks to everyone involved in TVCC there have been many more Ups, with the club growing both on and off the field. We finish the season in a much healthier position, playing wise, financially and socially.
Thanks to each and everyone of you!

Hope to see you later in the club? as we celebrate the end of the 2026 season 🍻🥂🥃
