Fantastic to host the Wirral Tankard and Plate today many congratulations to all the teams competing across the Plate and Tankard. Thanks to the Wirral league for all their organisation throughout the year. Thank you to the members of Birkenhead lawn tennis club for the efforts on the day the catering, the bar and barbecue. Congrats to Neston on their very tight match v Upton in the Plate. Well played to Cheshire Oaks we had some fantastic titanic matches this season. Congratulations to the Birkenhead team on the League and Tankard double they are rare very well done…..

Excellent playoffs run fantastically by the Wirral League. Congrats to BLTC 2nd and 3rd teams on their wins and securing Division 2 and Division 4 for next season. Well played Pinewood and Neston on the matches and respective seasons.

It is with great sadness that Birkenhead Lawn Tennis Club records the passing of long-standing and life member Ursula Cook who passed away recently. Ursula started playing at Birkenhead from what we can gather somewhere around 1956 and was a stalwart of our club and teams for many decades. She will greatly missed…..
