💃🏽WOW WHAT A SHOW FOR DEMENTIA UK !!!
Firstly the dancers who all danced and trained tor this show relentlessly through the summer to get to where they were last night. Everyone had electric energy , passion and connection to each other and the music 🎶 and because of this the dancing was just amazing..groups.. solos..duos the originality of your own dances aswel brings variety to the show. Thank you for believing in mine and Maureen's choreography and going along each year with our ideas and choices of music. We appreciate you bringing our visions to the stage ❤️ and we enjoy just as much seeing your creativity gracing the stage aswel ! The outside group Just Dance with our Jean Lavington , Marithezs Oakes , Victoria Bax , Vanessa Culliford , Cherry Todd with Jupiter Rising Steam Punk! To all the friends and family of these dancers that purchased a ticket to support their loved one and Dementia UK thank you !!
Thank you to everybody in the background who literally we could not do this without Nicole Thorpe our Sparkles DJ, our visual eye in rehearsals advising on placing and ideas, our massive supporter and help we all love you ❤️ to Phil Quigley for being the most amazing compare . Had such lovely comments from the audience for him please come back for our next show and throw a tap dance in there 🙏
To Darryll R James for driving 3 hours to get there to do our photography for free ! We are forever grateful for you turning up for us each year. To the staff at Birchington Centre who are nothing but accomadating and so used to dealing with us all by now and they make it easy every time. To the people that come and help set up the show and to the people doing the Raffle and staying behind to take it all down and clear up!. Thank you to Steve and Laura Jane for taking all the tickets on the door!
To Lesley Harris for selling the all the tickets.. doing the Raffle and running around in the background for me with all the little needs I have. Your a rock in all of this thank you for all you do! Maureen Grant for her speeches, choreography, planning the running order , stage plans with me, setting up, and being the ying to my yang 😊 Kerrie McGorrin for writing all the stage plans in neat for the millionth time when i've changed things on them and I can see your face trying not to cry haha!! For your fantastic stick men aswel to show us how were all walking on and sticking them around for everyone to see!. Katie Ezekiel for helping set up, and assist with putting everything where it needs to be and calming me at every given opportunity. To Louise Gunning stage manager....getting everyone into their rows and spots and herding the dancers out of the change room and where they need to be. Having the best organisation skills and a Mrs Gunning has spoken voice we all listen to ! Thank you 😊
