🏀Last night’s basketball session was a huge success, with more players joining and bringing great energy to the court. The Golden players stepped up to challenge the young guns, and the love‑and‑hate rivalry officially began — it’s only getting better next week!

This Sunday, we’re back for another open run — young and old players welcome!

🏀 The Journey Begins!

Today marked the official start of the 1st Batch of the Basketball Officials Development Programme, funded by Basketball England.

Over the next 10 weeks, participants will embark on an intensive learning journey designed to develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills required to become effective basketball officials. The programme provides dedicated pathways for referees, table officials, and coaches, focusing on both technical expertise and game management.

Participants will benefit from:
✅ Building confidence in decision-making
✅ Improving performance through quality training and feedback
✅ Learning how to contribute to fair, safe, and enjoyable basketball
✅ Developing clear pathways for progression at every level of the game

This programme is about more than officiating. It is about developing leaders, inspiring growth, and strengthening the future of basketball.

We look forward to seeing the progress of our first cohort as they work towards becoming the next generation of basketball officials.
