What a game!

A tight 2–1 derby win and definitely one that had the nerves going right until the final whistle!

The boys stepped it up, dug deep and showed some brilliant character to get the win.

Huge shoutout to Rex, our MoTM, who was unbelievable in his first start between the sticks. Some massive saves when we needed him most.

So proud of all the boys a proper team effort.

And a big congratulations to the Lions on a great game of football. It was a really tight contest and played in the right spirit.

🔵 MATCHDAY 🔵

The Blues are at home today as we welcome Billingham Lions U13 for a big local derby!

With injuries and holidays meaning we’ll see a few faces missing from the squad today, the mission remains exactly the same….. compete, work hard for each other and give everything from the first whistle to the last.

These are the games the lads look forward to, and we’re ready to get stuck in and put in a performance we can be proud of.

If last year is anything to go by, this should be another brilliant game between two sides who always give it everything.

FULL TIME — ANOTHER 3 POINTS FOR THE TOWN!

Great Ayton 0–5 Billingham Town

Another fantastic result on the road as the lads make it two wins from two to start the season!

The boys put in a brilliant all round performance, showing great energy, teamwork and determination from the first whistle to the last. Five goals were scored, with the team continuing to work hard and build momentum.

The lads were excellent at both ends of the pitch, creating plenty of chances while keeping another clean sheet. A really positive performance and a great result away from home.

MATCHDAY 2: GREAT AYTON U13

After a fantastic start to the season last weekend, the lads are back in action today as we make the trip to Great Ayton for Matchday 2.

We don’t know a huge amount about today’s opposition just yet, but that only adds to the excitement and we’re expecting a good, competitive game from start to finish.

Last week’s 9–0 win is behind us now. It’s all about today, staying focused, working hard and building on the positives from the opening game.

New ground. New challenge. Same ambition.

BILLINGHAM TOWN 9–0 FC HARTLEPOOL UNITED

A statement win to open the 2026/27 season! What a performance from the lads against a very good FC Hartlepool United side. From the first whistle to the last, the intensity, teamwork and desire were there for all to see.

A fantastic team performance, with everyone playing their part and putting in the work for the badge.

MOTM — ZAVIER

A tremendous performance from Zavier, who was incredibly effective when he came on. He brought energy, intensity and purpose to the attack, making a real impact in the final third and causing problems for the Hartlepool defence.

A well-deserved Man of the Match award and capped off with 3 goals!

But as good as today was, this is only the beginning. There’s plenty for us to build on, plenty to learn from and plenty more hard work ahead as we prepare for the next one.

🔵⚪️ MATCHDAY — THE 2026/27 SEASON STARTS HERE! ⚪️🔵

Pre-season is now done. The hard work has been put in, the preparation is complete and the squad is ready.

We kick off our 2026/27 campaign at home at Bedford Terrace, with FC Hartlepool United the visitors for our season opener.

After both clubs came up together last season, this promises to be a brilliant test for both sides as we begin life in a new campaign. There’s plenty to look forward to, and we’re sure it’ll be a competitive game from the first whistle.

Whatever happens today, one thing is certain the boys give everything for each other!
