Our annual Sportsman’s Dinner is the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year, helping to fund:

🏏 4 Junior Teams
🏏 Our Women’s Team
🏏 Our Over 40’s Team

Without this event, the club simply couldn’t continue to provide cricket for so many players in our community.

Former Liverpool & England footballer
🏆 5 First Division Titles
🏆 2 European Cups
🏆 4 League Cups (including the famous 1983/84 treble-winning season)
⚽ Former England coach under Sven-Göran Eriksson and Sam Allardyce

😂 Comedian: John Stiles
Son of England World Cup winner Nobby Stiles, guaranteed to keep you entertained throughout the evening.

🎁 The evening also features:
• Sports memorabilia auction
• Grand raffle
• Three-course dinner (Halal option available)

💷 Tickets: £60 per person

👔 Dress Code: Suit or smart attire

The event is open to both ladies and gentlemen, and whether you’re a sports fan, entertaining clients, celebrating with friends or simply looking for a fantastic night out, everyone is welcome.

Corporate tables are always popular for entertaining customers, suppliers and staff, so if your business would like to support the club whilst enjoying a great evening, we’d love to hear from you.

Last night our newly established girls’ team took on Sedgefield girls in a softball friendly, and what a performance it was!

With the team only having been together for 8 weeks, and many of the girls picking up a cricket bat and ball for the very first time, we certainly weren’t expecting too much. But they proved us completely wrong! 🙌

The girls put everything they’ve learned in training into practice, showing fantastic teamwork, determination and some brilliant new skills. They narrowly lost by just 2 runs in a very closely fought game!!

To lose by such a fine margin against a more established side is a fantastic achievement and gives us a real glimpse of the potential this new team has for next season🌟

A huge well done to every single one of the girls - you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. ❤️

And a massive thank you to their coach Saj, and to everyone who has supported, encouraged and helped make this new girls’ team possible. Your hard work is already paying off! 👏

🏆 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

What a season it’s been for our U15s! 💙🏏

After a real rollercoaster of a season, full of highs, lows, brilliant performances and some tough days, it all came down to the final points tally… and our boys have done it! 🏆🙌

The determination, resilience and never-give-up attitude they’ve shown throughout the season has been fantastic. They kept fighting right until the very end, and every single run, wicket and point mattered.

To come through such a closely fought league and finish TOP OF THE TABLE is a fantastic achievement and one they should all be incredibly proud of. 👏

A huge congratulations to every player, and a massive thank you to the coaches, parents and everyone who has supported the team throughout the season.
