Our Signature Event in our Strongman/woman Calendar……INGATESTONES STRONGEST 2026 is open to entries.

Hosted, as always, by the grassroots events organisers that truly set the ball rolling in 2019 by making all athletes feel like true “Strongmen/women”, with well organised events, being inclusive to all, & creating the opportunities to carry out disciplines that you otherwise would only see on the TV.

We are keen to continue supporting grassroots, as our efforts over the years has seen many of the now top UK athletes, including Pros, first take part in strongman at one of our events. Such as World u23 Champions Alfie Poyser , Ultimates Strongman athlete Ricky Daly & Giants Live athlete Ben Glasscock .

So here we are. Back with huge opportunities for grassroots strongman. With class, challenging events.

What everyone will get:
•T shirt for every entry
•Trophy for podium finishers
•Medal for those outside of top 3
•Warm up opportunities for each event (let’s not pretend that this is often a guarantee at most other comps 😂)

The categories available:

WCat1 = Womens “Entry” level. Around Beginners/Novice Level
WCat2 = Womens “Developed” level. Around Inters/Lower end Opens
MM40+ ‎ = Mens Masters 40+
MB = Men’s Beginners
MN = Men’s Novice
MI = Men’s Inters
MO = Men’s Opens

Just a few of our members from the past weekends Colchester’s Strongest competition.

Glenn Branch clients Danny Brumpton taking 2nd place in Men’s Opens, Helen Oliff taking 3rd place in Women’s Novice. Karl Payne placing 6th in a large Men’s Beginners field.

Kristina Yelland smashing Women’s Inters with 1st place. And .lxo2 placing 5th in his first attempt at Men’s Opens.

Great showing by them all. Great to see everyone giving it their best. Including many familiar faces from our own previous events.

And even better……. An exciting Bionic Comp is coming your way very soon…… the best will soon be back. 👌🏻

For the 3rd consecutive year, we are proud to host the .uk British Powerlifting Championships on Saturday 11th April.

A great drug-tested platform for lifters, in this event have the opportunity to take part in the Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift (can do a single discipline, two or all three for a power total).
