From Billericay to Wimbledon 🎾🌱🍓

We were proud to see two players who have come through our programme competing at The All England Club this week!

Edie made her junior Grand Slam singles main draw debut and won her first doubles match at this level alongside partner Dani 👏

Bella, who trained with us from age 5 to 12 and has been based at in Suffolk since, got her first taste of Wimbledon in the 14U girls event 👊

We’re absolutely thrilled for them both to have earned this experience and are honoured to have played a part in both their journeys.

Great job Jacob, continuing to regain confidence on the match court, winning the 12U boys singles event at the Raphael Park London & South East Tour Grade 5 yesterday! 🥇👊

Well done to BLTC players Harry, Oliver & Chayah and squad players Spruha & Eva who all represented Essex at the 11U County Cup National Finals this weekend!

The boys team earned a fabulous 3rd place 🥉 and the girls battled hard to finish 6th 👏

Well done Aria, a first orange ball final at the 9U London & South East Tour Grade 5 at Croydon High Sports Club today! 👏🥈

A fantastic week for Edie and partner Dani, finalists at the ITF J300 Lexus British Open at Roehampton! 🥈🥈👏

The pair battled past multiple seeded teams, winning every round in a match tiebreak(!) before ultimately falling to the strong Czech 4th seeds today.

Edie also performed well in singles, easing through her first round before pushing the #7 in the world all the way to 7-6 in the third.

Great prep for Wimbledon this coming week! We all wish Edie the best of luck 👊🍀
